Buy a British driver’s licence : how do we proceed on this site?
UK Driver License Online
Buy Northern Ireland Driving License Online
Northern Ireland residents can renew their driving licence online via the green link. This service is for residents in Northern Ireland only. The benefit of renewing online is that you’ll get your driving licence much sooner than if you renew by post.
Renew your Driving License
This extension will be automatically applied, the driver record will not be updated and renewal licenses may not be issued during this period.
Drivers whose license expiry falls within these dates do not need to take any action on the expiry of their license.
For some drivers this will remove the need to have a medical assessment conducted at this difficult time.
Note the extension does not apply to provisional driving licenses that expire in this period. A provisional driving license can be renewed online.
The DVA will issue you with a reminder notice when the temporary extension period is coming to an end.
As long as you’re a customer – we’re here for you. Also we have a 100% money back guarantee.
All our driving licence for sale are verified and can be seen at the Dvla database/website.
We offer the fastest and safest DELIVERY.
Differences between NI and GB Licenses
Changes made to the format of the Great Britain driving licences from 8 June 2015 have no effect on licences from the Driver and Vehicle Agency (DVA) in Northern Ireland. NI licences are still made up of two parts, a plastic photocard and paper part which is known as the paper counterpart.
A car, motorcycle or tractor driving licence will expire (when the date at 4B on the plastic card part of your driving licence has passed) every 10 years, unless you have a driving licence that has been medically restricted. There are also exceptions for drivers over 60 and for lorry and bus drivers. More about this below under the heading: ‘Exceptions’.
You’ll get a renewal notice
About two months before your licence expires the DVA will send you a renewal notice called ‘Application for Renewal of a Driving Licence’ (DL1R). This will be posted to the address held in their records, so it is important that you tell the DVA when you change address:
Note the extension does not apply to provisional driving licenses that expire in this period. A provisional license can be renewed online below.
This online service will not allow you to renew a lorry or bus driving license. These licenses can be renewed by:
- filling in and returning the renewal reminder form (DL1R) if one has been sent to you
- or filling in and returning a driving license application form (DL2*)
To apply online to renew your car, motorbike or tractor driving license you will need:
- a digital photo or photo code – take a look at the rules for digital photos before renewing your license via the green link below
- a credit or debit card (if payment is needed)
- a valid email address
- your Northern Ireland driving license number and expiry date (date it runs out on) – both can be found on the plastic card part of your driving license – ‘5’ is the driving license number and ‘4b’ the expiry date
Although you can change your address when renewing your license online you cannot change your name online.
